Downtown Saint Paul has long battled the misconception that everything shuts down after 6 p.m. or that there's nothing to do unless a major event is happening. The reality is much different. With thousands of events taking place each year, averaging at least three on any given weekday, downtown is active well into the evening.

2 Something for everyone at Gambit Brewing 141 4th St E, Suite LL2 Saint Paul, MN 55101 Gambit is always a good stop for great beer and good friends. Check out their regular offerings like Retro and Board Game Night, Trivia, Vinyl Nights and Punk Nights. They also host the Funniest Person in Saint Paul contest. The Pearl is a new speakeasy operating on Friday nights from 6pm-1am that includes nightly programming and a small-bite menu from Meritage.
