Rice Park is a beloved public space at the heart of downtown Saint Paul. It was was dedicated as Saint Paul’s first public space when it was given to the city in 1849. Rice Park is home to many festivals, concerts and events throughout the year. The park features a beautiful fountain and other public art installations. Rice Park is surrounded by significant cultural and historical buildings including the Saint Paul Hotel, Landmark Center, Ordway and the Downtown Central Library.
