Details
Join us for a thoughtful panel and discussion event inspired by Ken Burns’ documentary, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. The event is done in partnership with Twin Cities PBS, Dakota County Historical Society, Ramsey County Historical Society, and Hennepin History.
The evening will begin with a short screening of the film’s overview, setting the stage for a deeper conversation about the people, ideas, and conflicts that shaped America’s founding. Following the screening, a panel of historians and experts will explore the Revolution’s national significance and local connections, offering fresh perspectives on a familiar story. The program will conclude with a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, inviting attendees to engage directly with the themes of the film and consider how the legacy of the American Revolution continues to influence our understanding of history today.
