The St. Paul Skyway Scavenger Hunt sends a fresh clue to your inbox every morning at 9:00 AM for five days. Solve it, find a hidden letter somewhere in the skyway, and assemble the secret keyword to claim the cache.
The hunt is a 50/50 partnership between TC Treasure and spskyway.com — both names above the door, both teams shaping the experience. Here’s why we’re excited.
TC TREASURE · TWELVE YEARS
Todd Pitman has been activating Minnesota since 2014.
TC Treasure is the Twin Cities’ premier scavenger-hunt operator. Twelve years of designing one-of-a-kind adventures that turn cities into playgrounds. Todd Pitman — the founder — has activated dozens of partnerships, brought meaningful traffic and revenue to local businesses, and made the Twin Cities a more legible, more lived-in place. The proven and refined techniques he’s developed over a dozen years are why this hunt is going to work.
SPSKYWAY.COM · A PUBLIC UTILITY
The map of every skyway, business, and shortcut.
spskyway.com is a public utility — the first complete, open map of the St. Paul skyway. Every walkway, every business, every hour, every accessibility feature. Free, accurate, and built in the open. Our first activation was the eat. app, built for the Skyway Friends Progressive Dinner:
“Building the ‘eat.’ app gave the Progressive Dinner the backbone it needed — coordinating check-ins, balancing capacity, and automating tasks so that a five-restaurant evening could run as one. With the infrastructure handled, Robb and our partner restaurants were free to focus entirely on the guests and the experience.
The result: 324 seats registered, 155 unique attendees checked in (some couples and parties shared accounts), and they made 511 stops across Citizen, Kincaid’s, the Saint Paul Hotel Lobby Bar, Ruam Mit, and Sakura — driving an estimated $16,600 → $23,240 in food and drink revenue to our partners on what would otherwise be a slow Wednesday night.
With deeper integration and refinement, and thanks to the wonderful feedback I’ve received, ‘eat.’ has been enhanced to be even more intuitive and fun the next go around.
If you’re interested in learning about our impact, the feedback-based improvements I’ve made, or want to help test, check out eat.skywayfriends.org/beta.”

We proved a thesis we’re going to keep proving: legibility creates activation.
WHY WE’RE WORKING TOGETHER
Bringing the skyway to life.
For five days at the end of May, the climate-controlled corridor through downtown St. Paul becomes a treasure hunt. Solve the clues. Find the cache. Claim the prize. Todd’s twelve years of activation expertise meet the data layer we’ve been building — promoting local businesses, fostering community, and bringing the quiet upper level of downtown to life.
