Join the Laurel School of Music for the Rothchild Family Concert Series at the Minnesota History Center. Each concert features a unique program performed by members of the music school’s faculty. Don’t miss this chance to hear the series in the beautiful History Center Museum on select Thursday nights.

The 2026-2027 Series begins with this special event in 3M Auditorium exploring a set of playful piano, vocal and chamber compositions by Academy Award-winning filmmaker, painter, photographer, composer and philanthropist Jerome Hill (1905-1972), featuring guest speakers Libby Larsen and Vickie Benson.

Senior Curator of Manuscripts Kate Hujda will share insights into Jerome’s life and career, and current work underway in MNHS Collections to preserve and share his legacy.

Auditorium doors open at 6 PM. The performance begins at 6:30 PM, followed by a reception with light refreshments (“petite sweets”!) and a cash bar. **Registration is required.**

Plus, enjoy free admission and parking at the Minnesota History Center every Thursday from 4-8 PM.
