This year the party moves to 7th Street Plaza — the ground where Saint Paul’s Wednesday Farmers’ Market gathers, at the entrances of the Palace and Park Square theatres, between our lovely neighbors The Loon and The Palace Pub. We are surrounded by the best of Saint Paul — so that’s exactly where we’re setting the table. The stage sets under the Palace Theatre’s marquee, at the doors of Park Square — and at the Underground’s new entrance. And on that stage: Onyx returns — the artist collective that owned last year’s afternoon, back for the Looking Glass year.
And the plaza holds a secret: the new entrance to Meritage Underground, our speakeasy just down the steps from Meritage proper — which becomes, for one day, the festival’s Platinum Pass Lounge, with a second stage and a program all its own.
